GRAIN OF TRUTH
The prompt for this project was to create a campaign centered around any state in the U.S., and I chose Iowa and created a project that focused on exposing the negative consequences of the corn industry. The campaign is a "Call to Arms" for the little farmers in Iowa who are being forced out of their homes by the large corporations like Monsanto. My main deliverable is a booklet that discusses the corruption of the food industry. It has many fold-outs that expose the truth behind these large corporations and push the fact that these are some of the things that are being hidden from the American people. I also completely illustrated the book, and used texture everywhere to show how unnatural our food industry has become.
